Does anyone else get the feeling that Bruenor is going to come across an arquebus soon?

At least smoke powder is drifting south, I remember a story where a mageling is cleansing a barrel full of this stuff in Waterdeep (think it was in one of the Realms of … series). The last big explosion in front of Mithril Hall was made of gas – so I presume it hasn’t reached Bruenor  |

| Is this a veiled "World of Warcraft" conjecture? For what its worth, Rich Baker has said that FR will be moving away from having any details about smoke powder or weapons associated with it. |

I must say, I am perplexed by your assumption here as well. Also, Rich said on the WotC Forums that smokepowder will be probably be skipped over in the 4e Realms. |
