Your book definitely sounds intriguing.
I'm really hoping one of the other books in the Citadels series deals with one or both of the Amnian citadels, Amnur and Rashturl. That country really has been overlooked in recent years (other than the brief blurb in PoF, of course). |

I'm so glad to see so many interested in Veldorn. When I got some input from Mr. Greenwood himself, even he expressed interest due to the relative lack of coverage of that area. That felt pretty good, I have to say. |

I stumbled across the Wizards entry for the book while doing Realms-research this past weekend, and it's definitely on my list of things to wait for. Here's another fan who wasn't satisfied with the paragraph or two alloted to the Shining Lands in the FRCS. ~_^

Thanks so much for asking. I've been thinking that I need to do a little write-up of my overall thoughts on the novel-writing process now that it's done. Sort of a "What did I learn" type of thing. I'll do so soon and post it here as well as on my site.
As for my next project, I have two or three short stories that I have been working on for a while that I hope to finish soon. Then I'll try and find homes for them, of course.
I'm sorting through some design work right now as well. My first adventure module will appear in a Goodman Games anthology that is forthcoming and I may have some more design work coming soon.
I have an idea for another Realms novel that I need to put some finishing touches on, but I hope to pitch that to the WotC editors soon as well.
In addition, I have now seen the cover mock-up for Neversfall and was blown away. I hope I can share it soon as I just think it's really exciting and feel certain folks will love it.
I'll have another piece of news soon as well, but that's got to remain super-secret for now.

Actually that's a false cover :)Turns out that when books get moved up in their schedules, it's pretty common to use part of a cover from another book as a temporary cover for the new book so that catalogs (like Random House or Amazon) can show something instead of a blank nothing.
That's the case with my book at this point. If that cover at Amazon looks familiar, it's because it's part of (a small portion, really blown up and smoothed out) R.A. Salvatore's Hunter's Blade Trilogy Collector's Edition cover, heh.
How cool is that?
My real cover is coming and will be up soon. As I said, I'm blown away by the real one :) |

Neversfall was supposed to be Estagund's stronghold in the wilds of monster-ridden Veldorn, an unassailable citadel to protect the southern lands. Then the regiment holding Neversfall disappeared, leaving no hint of what took them. The replacement forces find themselves attacked from both within and without the fortress's walls. Besieged by monsters and men, a mercenary captain and an elite warrior must work together to discover out who their enemy really is.
