I have discovered these two items and would just like to know where and how one could obtain them. The group im DM'ing are all elves and all wizards and have this plan about reobtaining lost treasure from ancient times. They want to bring them back to "their" people!

I would have your players try and seek out Elminster to regain it. This can create an entire subplot where they must prove their loyalty and alliegence to their people.
You can do something similar with the scrolls. |

I've seen some reefrence about those items being taken to Ascalhorn... That would make them possible traesures in the Hellgate Keep/Dell. Considering, of course, they weren't obliterated by the Gatekeeper's Crystal. Or taken elsewhere since the fall of Eaerlann. |
