Okay, so it appears that the Lady K has taken the exact book I was looking for, to work with her [perhaps, for lunchtime reading?]. Thus, I'll just offer up this somewhat easier question as an alternative:-

It is said that Shalgreth of the Wings came into possession of a specific magical artifact. Name both the artifact and what Shalgreth did while he had possession of it.

He found a deep fryer powered by a captive fire elemental, and used to to cook lightly breaded and very small chicken wings, which he then coated in a spicy sauce. His "rothé wings" were the hit of the Moonsea, and resulted in his eventual "of the Wings" epithet.

Sage, questions like that make it harder for me to come up with a flip answer!

If you had trouble with this one, I can only imagine the difficulty you would've encountered with the question I originally wanted to ask. In fact, I would have welcomed your attempt to put a humorous spin on it.

This one rings a faint bell. Something about interbreeding monsters/humanoids or something...

There is *some* degree of truth to that... but to which part, exactly, I'll not say. Yet.

The Flame of the North. A heavily enchanted two-handed blade that i always thought was the famed Brightblade entrusted to the lineage of the lords of Emberden. Not sure why they would rename the sword though. In any case, i believe that is the item in question (the reason i know this is because one of our player wielded it for quite some time :p ). Or was there some crawling hand there as well? Can i have two guesses?

It was the Lady General Georgina S. Paton Wyvernspur-Larkspar (or just 'Georgie', as she loathed her full name and title), a rebellious adventurer and later distinguished officer in the royal navy of Ormpur. I believe she also coined the phrase: "Outflipped the wooly one on that one!", often heard as a battle cry by those under her command...

Right...

What haunted location commemorates the sartorial folly of Lord Orstan?

And don't try Googling that one. It won't help .

You may need to start hinting, Doc. It's been three days afterall.

Edit: Nevermind, it would be the Riverman Inn in Blackfeather Bridge (Volo’s Guide to the Dalelands by Ed Greenwood). Sartorial folly = posing "for posterity wearing a ridiculous high-fashion summer outfit consisting of little more than a haughty sneer and a pair of gauntlets"

I thought quoting what I'd already described as my favourite Realms product would be an easy way in .

It helps that I'm doing research for the 'Realmspeak' list.

For my question, I want to know:
What is any one of the three known uses of “thaebra”?

Good luck Damian! I also won't be giving a clue yet today, as a cryptic clue of sorts was already given with the question.
