I must apologize for the long delay. I have not had an opportunity to log on here for the last five days, or to give clues on this one.
Elfinblade, you are on the correct path, but I need it to be a little bit more specific.
Clue: It is a word from an old, now-lost battle song of the Foehammer. |

I didn't want to answer this before, because it's musical-related. And my obsession with music-related Realmslore, I thought, gave me something of an unfair advantage -- since I immediately knew both the answer and the source. But since Elfinblade's already taken a shot, I'll finish it off.
'Tis indeed a piece of Ed-lore. "Zelzing" is an old word from an ancient battle song of the faith of Tempus. From Ed's '04 replies:-
quote: “Zelzing!” [a word from an old, now-lost battle song of Tempus, that poetically described the sound of ringing swords in battle; this is now used triumphantly to mark a blow struck, or battle joined, or a foe struck down]

You are of course correct, Sage. The floor is yours...

Yes it is
There was a nifty detailed map to go with it, but I can no longer find the 'Free Downloads' section on the WotC site. |

Sorry im off topic, but damn I'm a noob compared to all of you guys. I cant answer any of these questions. And all that I could come up with for a question is:
What is the name of the creature that feeds on magic?
(There might be more than one, dont know, but Im thinking of a specific here) |

Nilshai(sp) is one.
Then you have the one Shandril sucked dry in Spellfire.
Magic Golem from the Zhentil Keep boxset.
Probably some more out there lurking... |

So...while we are waiting on Sage to ask his question.
Lets have a Bonus Round.
Question(Very easy one and it will let you know what I am reading now.): Who created the Doomstars? |

It's what the clone Emperor wanted to call the Galaxy Gun.

Applause for Wooly too, for the suitable Doctor Doom reference. As my favourite Marvel villain, that's definitely something I can find amusing.

And yet, the Great Waiting continues...
Unfortunately, I doubt I'll get to it today. It's a *special* day of annual importance for me, and the Lady K has quite a hectic adventuring schedule planned. |

I've got a question in mind... but I'm currently on the train on the way home from work. So it'll have to wait until I get back to my books. |

Alright... so I've got Sage Reckoning and Sage Speak here at Candlekeep. [Are there any other terms that scribes think are applicable to my activity in these halls?] And I have SagePhone, SageOS, and SageCar at home.
I'm beginning to notice an almost disturbing third-person Doctor Doom-type trend developing here.
