We can give it another day or two if you'd like, but I think we may have to have a different question. If this question does go unanswered, I do hope you'll still provide the answer for us.
Fair enough. If nobody gets it, will I get to ask the next one too?
Yup. You've got the floor until a question is answered. |

Evonne Linden's last (or most recent) appearance in Realmslore is in Chapter 27 of Jenna Helland's The Fanged Crown. The specific time and location, as given in the header of that chapter, is the 4th day of Flamerule, the Year of the Ageless One (1479 DR), at Kinnard Keep, in the kingdom of Tethyr.
I'll not give the specifics of how and why Evonne came to be there (or even how and why she came to be alive!), in the interest of not spoiling the twists and turns of this most excellent and exciting novel.
And since none of Candlekeep's scholars were up to the task on this question, I still have the floor. I'll propose another question on the morrow.
Cheers,

Well, let me just say, in my own defence, I've yet to actually read this novel. The Lady K is a Helland-fan, thus it's currently sitting in her immediate "To-Read" stack. And I know from experience that I should never attempt to remove anything from that stack!

Ah, but perhaps you could try removing the book, while replacing it with one of equal weight/reading value, like Indiana Jones in "Raiders of the Lost Ark?" |

That's probably not a good idea. Because I'm suddenly imagining myself and the Lady K in a scenario very similar to The Simpsons parody of that scene, which originally featured Bart and Homer.

Okay, here's the next question.
Who are the makers of the Kerrenderit Arrows, and what unexpected material is used in their making?

Jell-O?

Wow this is an excellent question - I know the mage and family from my old Waterdeep campaign but cannot find the source (and I have looked in all the obvious books so far).

It might not be the mage you're thinking... It's certainly not the most obvious one. |

Aye. It pays to note exactly how Wooly worded the question.

Okay, hint time. And I fear this hint may be too obvious, but I can't really think of any way to give a hint without being incredibly obscure.
Hint: This info is not found in any of the many Waterdhavian sourcebooks. |

I risk this strange one, translated from a French one with my 3F (French Faerūnian Fellows )
Within the tenth, I was the second one of the three but not the second of the six. But not for ever. Indeed, when the tenth was not it any more, The second, I was not any more, but the first one. And it is partially because of that that later, I became no one any more until I become nothing more.
Who am I ?
I really hope that, grammatically, it's understandable and intelligible enough. Just tell me.

Hmm, my guess would be Dinin Do'Urden.
SPOILERS! (involving Drizzt Do'urden)
I think the riddle refers to the events from the book Homeland to The Legacy. Dinin was a member of House Do'Urden, the Tenth House of Menzoberranzan at the beginning of Homeland. Dinin was the Secondboy of Matron Malice's male children, but not the second of her male and female children.
However, when House Do'Urden defeated Fourth House DeVir to move up to Ninth House, Dinin murders his elder brother Nalfein, and indirectly saves his younger brother Drizzt. Thus, when the house is no longer Tenth, neither is he Secondboy, but Elderboy.
Later, when House Do'Urden falls to House Baenre, Dinin goes into exile with Bregan D'aerthe, thus becoming "no more", until his sister Vierna turns him into a drider. Subsequently he is slain by Bruenor Battlehammer.
Whew! |

Thanks Fillow! Actually, I thought your question was a refreshing change of pace. Instead of immediately sending me off to burrow through my realmslore sources, it was a good exercise of mental deduction.
I'll have my question ready soon, plus a bonus question for the quotemeisters out there! |

Okay fellow scribes, my entry for the trivia challenge has one cautionary footnote: The question makes a bit of a deductive leap, but given the lore, seemed reasonable and possible to me.
What daring individual, known to visit Waterdeep a time or two, unwittingly holds captive the Archmage of fallen Unticzer?
And here's the unofficial bonus question, outside of rules canon:
What adventurer gave the following quote:
"You don't need to be strong, but if you're dumb, you're playing in the wrong sandbox."
Good luck all! |

Hint Time!
(In a year of pride and waste, the Archmage of Unticzer decided to be the puppetmaster of Tashluta, and hence brooks no interference with his plans to dominate it, even from yuan-ti infiltrators...)
Good luck! |

Hmmm, according to Serpent Kingdom p.126, Anthilar the lich archmage of Untisczer was encased in a lich's coffin and shipped north by Myrkulytes in 1056. It passed through many hands before ending in Tostyn Alaerthmaugh's hoard, a young adult mercury dragon lairing in Everlake, and where it lies to this day, still unopened. |

Correct Kilvan! Working off the Grand History of the Realms entries and the "Wyrms of the North" online article, I noticed the identical descriptions and thought it would be a nice challenge.
Also, edappel is correct as well! I took the quote from one of the flavor text at the bottom of page 100 of the Complete Spacefarers Handbook. But because its from the Spelljammer universe, I think its outside the challenge rules.
Congrats to both and the floor is yours Kilvan! |
