Marlel, the Dark Blade of Doom from the novel Hand of Fire. First mention is on p.11. He was hired by the cult to capture Shandril Shessair. |

In the Realms our group is few in number, and we keep to ourselves with only the wind and waves to keep us company. For the glory of our god, we labor to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Though it benefits others, it has seeded conflict among us. Where once we were united, today we stand riven in strife. For you see, the prophecy would bring salvation and doom. Who are we, where do we dwell, and briefly describe our labor and conflicts.
Good luck scribes! |

First Hint:
Our isle is uncharted on any map existing in the Realms, and we like it that way. Indeed, many folk would name us...Forgotten. |

I'm kinda surprised no scribes have accurately answered this one yet. While I don't know whether it was intentional or not, I notice Aysen is giving away some particularly useful hints alongside the "official" hints.

Is it the Smug Sages? Who dwell down under and strive to make others lack of realms trivia knowledge known to all?? |

Sage, it's VERY intentional how my hints are worded; I'm trying to dance around the answer without giving away too much. It gets more difficult with each hint, so in a week I may just be quoting page numbers

Red Walker, are you peeking into my mind? Funny you should say "dwell down under", you're on the right track...

Is that an Oghma-based Realms organisation?
Good guess, but its not an Oghmanyte organization. Though knowledge for its own sake is worthy, applied knowledge is worthier to them. |

Actually, I'll note that that reply was directed at the Red Walker's post about Smug Sages.
I already know the answer to your trivia question. |
