And perhaps Red should now be forthcoming with a clue...
... and the question too !
What, you don't like the existing one?

Hint: The one who created him is not mortal. The one who destrys him is.
P.S. I hope our French friend "belikes" my hint |

Thanks. This next question will probably be an easy one for all of you learned sages, but I was reading this tonight and thought it interesting.
Who/what is the guardian of the Calimemnon Crystal? |

Correct. Baylox (LN male Mulan human Wizard14/Archmage3), the reigning authority on Okothian magics, frequently visits Azun, as noted on page 114 of Serpent Kingdoms. The floor is yours. |

Good Question - it wasn't where I expected it to be (the FRCS, where I first read of the 'Zhent Settlers').
However, with a little bit of digging I found Trevis Uhl, one of two Zhent Leaders that settled in Newfort (Silver Marches, pg.81). The name of his tavern is The Hero's Reward.
I'll wait for the confirm before I ask a question (and I have to find one, anyway). |

Thanks Mark.
You're right.
... And the inn that Trevis ran in ZK before leaving was The Defiant Gesture. Several sources also quote this piece of Realms : Ruins of ZK Rand's travelogue - Personalities of the Silver Marches.

After my last debacle, I'll try to use a source definately FR, and keep the question simple (I hope).
These creatures are "heavy, well muslced herd animals resembling large yaks" - name them. |

Rothe?
I said it should be easy... not a complete give-away.
That was a direct quote from the source, BTW - large means LARGE.
Hint: They live in the far north. |

Hint #2 (really #3): They aren't just mentioned in text - they have an MC sheet in the product they appear in! |

I had really thought this was an easy one, but I suppose this particular 2e source isn't as popular as most. If no-one gets it soon, I'll post a pic of the ugly beast (maybe that will jog some memories). |

Krotter. Giantcraft, page 124.
I was looking in The Great Glacier (because "far north" wasn't The North) when I saw Giantcraft sitting on the shelf. I figured it was a good place to look, and I was right! |
